This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Lemon grass roots, Boneless chicken breasts Cuisine Thai Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 1.30-2 hour Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Lemongrass Chicken Skewers 1 inch piece Lemon grass roots chopped 2 Boneless chicken breasts cut into 12 strips 1 inch piece Ginger to taste Sea salt 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red chillies 1 Lemon 1 teaspoon Fish sauce 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce 1 tablespoon Honey 2 tablespoons Olive oil Method Slice lemongrass root, ginger and put them in a mortar. Add sea salt, peppercorns, crushed red chillies and crush all together with a pestle. Squeeze the juice of lemon into the mixture, add fish sauce, oyster sauce and mix well. Place the chicken strips in a bowl, pour the above mixture over it and mix well. Let it marinate for 1 hour, preferably in a refrigerator. Add honey and mix. String the chicken strips onto skewers. Heat olive oil in a non stick pan on medium heat, place the skewers on it and cook for 2-3 minutes till golden, rotating the skewers a few times for even cooking. Serve hot.
