By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Jun 2021 in Recipes Veg New Update Mag ni Dhokli Main Ingredients Green gram ( moong) flour, Turmeric powder Cuisine Indian,Gujarati Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients ½ cup green gram flour (mag/moong) ½ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon coriander-cumin powder Salt to taste 2 tablespoons oil + for greasing ½ tablespoon mustard seeds Method Mix together green gram flour, ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, ½ teaspoon chilli powder, ½ teaspoon coriander-cumin powder and salt in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon oil and water as required and knead into a soft dough. Heat sufficient water in a non-stick pan and bring to a boil. Grease your palms with little oil. Divide the prepared dough into equal portions and shape into dhoklis. Add the prepared dhoklis to the boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in another non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and once they begin to splutter, add remaining turmeric powder, remaining coriander-cumin powder, remaining chilli powder and dhoklis. Add salt, mix well and cook for 5 minutes or till the oil separates.
