Ingredients for Mango Sago Pudding Recipe

  • Mango pulp 1 cup

  • Sago (sabudana) soaked for 30 mins ¾ cup

  • Ghee 2 tbsps + for greasing

  • Milk reduced 1 cup

  • Sugar 1/4 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Desiccated coconut For topping

  • Plum fan for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add sago and sauté for 1 minute.

Step 2

Add reduced milk and stir well. Add sugar and cardamom powder, stir to mix and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add mango pulp, mix well and cook till the sago is fully cooked and mixture thickens.

Step 4

Grease a glass baking dish with some ghee. Pour the cooked mixture in it and spread evenly, cool to room temperature and refrigerate till set.

Step 5

Top with desiccated coconut, garnish with the plum fan and serve chilled.
