Ingredients for Mango Shikran - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Badami mangoes 2 medium

  • Green cardamom powder a pinch

  • Jaggery powder 2 tablespoons

  • Coconut milk 1/2 cup

  • Almonds slivered for garnish

  • Pistachios slivered for garnish

  • Hot puris to serve

Method

Step 1

Trim the top of the mango, slice in half avoiding the pit. Cut around the edges of the pit.

Step 2

Make horizontal cross cuts, scoop out the flesh with a spoon and put into a bowl.

Step 3

Mash the mangoes with a fork till pulpy. Add a pinch of green cardamom powder, jaggery powder and coconut milk and mix well.

Step 4

Transfer into serving bowls, sprinkle slivered almonds and pistachios and serve with hot puris.
