By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Maple syrup, Rolled oats Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Maple Oatmeal Cookies ¼ cup Maple syrup 3 cups Rolled oats 1 cup Refined flour (maida) ¼ teaspoon Baking soda ¾ cup Butter at room temperature 1 cup brown sugar/jaggery ½ cup Granulated sugar 1 Egg 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon Sea salt fine Method Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with a parchment paper. Mix together oats, flour and baking soda in a bowl. Cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl till pale and fluffy. Add maple syrup, egg, vanilla essence, sea salt and ¼ cup water and beat till well combined. Add the oats-flour mixture and mix well to form a dough. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and place them on the lined tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or till the edges turn golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.
