  1. Boil three cups of water in a pan. Crush ginger using a mortar with pestle. Add it to the water. Crush the green cardamoms coarsely and add to the water.
  2. Bring to a boil. Add the tea leaves and bring to a boil. 
  3. Add the milk and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the sugar and let it boil till sugar dissolves.
  5. Strain and serve piping hot.
