Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 2-3 tablespoons malai + For garnish
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and asafoetida and let the seeds change colour. Add green peas, mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add malai and mix well. Add garam masala powder and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish generously with malai and serve hot.
