By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Mar 2021 in Recipes Veg New Update Methi Dana Sabzi Main Ingredients Fenugreek seeds (methi dana), Mustard oil Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-7 hours Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1/4 cup fenugreek seeds (methi dana) soaked overnight 2 tablespoons mustard oil 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds a pinch asafoetida Salt to taste 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder 6-7 raisins 4-5 almonds ,roughly chopped+ to garnish 5-6 cashewnuts, roughly chopped + to garnish 1/4 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur) 1/2 teaspoon honey Method Heat mustard oil in a deep non-stick pan till it begins to smoke, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds and asafoetida, mix and saute till the colour changes. Add fenugreek seeds, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Cover and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring a few times. Add raisins, almonds, cashewnuts, dried mango powder and honey, mix well and sauté for 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
