Ingredients list for Mirchi ke Tipore

  • 12-15 Medium sized light green chillies roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 6-7 Garlic cloves sliced
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 Lemon halved

Method

  1. Heat oil in non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add garlic, mix and sauté till golden. Add green chillies, salt and turmeric powder, mix and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add butter and coriander powder, mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Squeeze the juice of lemon juice on top, mix well and transfer into a porcelain jar and cool down to room temperature. Serve as required.
