Mixed Raita By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Jan 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Yogurt, Carrot Cuisine Indian Course Raitas Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Mixed Raita 1 1/2 cups Yogurt 1/2 cup Carrot grated 1/2 cup Radish grated 1/2 cup Tomatoes chopped 2 Green chillies 1 inch piece Ginger 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 1/2 teaspoon Oil 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds 1/2 teaspoon Jeera (Cumin Seeds) a pinch Asafoetida (hing) 1/2 teaspoon Chana Dal 1/2 teaspoon Urad dal Method Squeeze the water from grated radish. Blend the green chillies & ginger in a blender. Now bake the grated carrot, grated radish & tomato pieces in Microwave oven for twenty seconds. Add yogurt, green chillies paste, ajwain, salt & coriander to the baked mixture and mix well. Heat oil in a non stick pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and hing, when it starts spluttering add split bengal grams, split skinless black grams and saute for a minute.
