Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Mushroom And Pea Soup Recipe

  • Chicken Stock 6 cups

  • Mushrooms 1 cup

  • Green peas 1 cup

  • Mushrooms 5-6

  • Spring onion greens 2-3

  • Carrot 1

  • Egg white 1

  • MSG a pinch

  • Soy sauce 1-2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Peppercorns to taste


Step 1

Clean mushrooms and chop into quarters. Cut the spring onion greens into ¾” pieces. Peel and dice carrot.

Step 2

Cut boiled chicken into cubes. Boil peas, mushrooms, carrots in chicken broth till done. While it is boiling, add chicken cubes and spring onion greens. Beat egg white lightly and drop into the boiling soup through a sieve. Add Ajinomoto, soya sauce and lastly, salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with bread.
