Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 lemons
  • Black salt to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh mint sprig for garnish
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Method

  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add sugar and 1 cup water. Mix well. Cook on medium heat till sugar melts. Transfer to a bowl and set aside to cool.
  2. Slice a lemon into half and squeeze out the juice in a serving glass. Add black salt, salt, 1 tbsp prepared sugar syrup and ½ cup chilled water. Shake well to mix.
  3. Garnish with a lemon slice and a mint sprig.
  4. Serve chilled.
