By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Apr 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Spinach leaves (palak), Cottage cheese (paneer) Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Palak Paneer Sandwich 1 medium bunch Spinach leaves (palak) blanched and shredded 200 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) grated 8 Bread slices 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 1 Green chilli chopped to taste Salt 4 tablespoons Processed cheese grated 3 tablespoons Mozzarella cheese grated as required Butter to serve Tomato ketchup to serve French fries Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and saute till their colour changes. Add garlic and green chilli, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add spinach, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add salt, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Transfer into a bowl. Add cottage cheese, processed cheese and mozzarella cheese and mix well. Apply butter on one side of 4 slices of bread, spread a generous portion of stuffing on each evenly. Cover with remaining slices of bread and apply butter on top. Heat a griller, grease it with a little butter and place 2 sandwiches, at a time, on it with the butter side up, close and grill till evenly golden on both sides. Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and place them serving platter.
