By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese, Saffron Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 250 grams cottage cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes A large pinch of saffron 2 tablespoons pure ghee 1/2 cup tomato puree 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 tablespoon sugar Salt to taste 1 cup yogurt 1/4 teaspoon green cardamom powder 5-6 almonds, toasted and flaked Method Soak saffron in one tablespoon of water. Heat one tablespoon of ghee in pan, add tomato puree, red chilli powder, sugar and salt. Sauté for a minute. Add yogurt. Cook and stir continuously for one minute. Add paneer and cook for two minutes. Sprinkle green cardamom powder and kesar soaked in water and stir. Serve hot garnished with almond flakes.
