By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients King fish (surmai), Fresh basil leaves Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients 4 pieces Surmai, darne cut 2 tablespoons olive oil 4-5 garlic cloves 15-20 basil leaves ¼ cup pine nuts Oil for shallow frying 1 small onion, sliced for serving Method Blend together oil, garlic cloves, basil leaves and pine nuts in a blender to make pesto. Marinate the fish in pesto and set aside. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan for shallow-frying. Shallow-fry the marinated fish till cooked. Drain on absorbent paper.
