By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Mar 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Brown pav, Fresh mozzarella cheese ball Cuisine Italian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Pesto Mozzarella Sandwich - SK Khazana 4 Brown pav 1 Fresh mozzarella cheese ball 2 Medium tomatoes sliced to garnish Micro greens Pesto sauce 1 cup Fresh basil leaves 1 tablespoon Pinenuts 3-4 cloves Garlic 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese powder 2 tablespo for drizzling Olive oil to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed Method Preheat the oven to 180° C. To make pesto sauce put garlic cloves, parmesan cheese powder and pinenuts in a blender jar and grind. Add basil leaves, olive oil, salt and crushed black pepper and grind again into not too smooth paste. Transfer the pesto into a bowl. Slice the brown pavs without cutting through and place them on a baking tray. Cut fresh mozzarella into round slices. Spread pesto paste between each slice. Insert a cheese slice and a tomato slice alternately in between the slices. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
