Ingredients for Pomegranate and Chilli Cooler Recipe

  • Fresh pomegranate pearls 8 tablespoons

  • Fresh red chillies 8

  • Drinking soda 4 cups

  • Salt 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon

  • Lemons halved 2 1/2

  • Fresh mint leaves 24-32

  • Ice cubes as required

  • Sugar syrup 8-12 tablespoons

  • Lemon slices to garnish


Step 1

Take some salt and chilli powder on a plate, mix well and spread evenly.

Step 2

Rub ½ lemon on the rims of 4 serving glasses and place them inverted on the plate so till they get well coated with chilli powder-salt mixture.

Step 3

For each portion put 2 tablespoons pomegranate pearls, 1 broken fresh red chilli, juice of ½ lemon and 6-8 torn mint leaves in the glass and muddle lightly.

Step 4

Put few ice cubes, 2-3 tablespoons sugar syrup and 1 cup drinking soda and mix lightly.

Step 5

Garnish the rim with a slit fresh red chilli and a lemon slice and serve chilled.
