Puffed Rice and Amaranth Laddoos These laddoos can be enjoyed anytime of the day This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Jul 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Puffed rice (kurmura/murmura), Puffed amaranth seeds (rajgira) Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Puffed Rice and Amaranth Laddoos 1 1/2 cups Puffed rice (kurmura/murmura) 1 1/2 cups Puffed amaranth seeds (rajgira) 1 tablespo for greasing Ghee 1 1/2 cups Jaggery chopped Method Dry roast puffed rice in a non-stick pan for 2-3 minutes and transfer into a bowl. Dry roast amaranth seeds in the same pan for 2-3 minutes and transfer into another bowl. Heat ghee in the same pan, add jaggery and ½ cup water, mix and cook till the mixture reaches soft ball consistency. Add roasted puffed rice and amaranth and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a greased bowl and set aside to cool. Grease your palms with some ghee, divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into laddoos.
