By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 May 2016 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Yellow bell pepper, Chicken drumsticks Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 1-1.30 hour Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Pukka Yellow Curry 2 medium Yellow bell pepper 8 Chicken drumsticks 2 medium Onions 1 inch Garlic cloves 1 cup Chicken stock 1-2 Fresh red chillies deseeded ½ medium bunch Fresh coriander stems 1 teaspoon Honey 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons Curry powder 2 tablespoons Oil 400 grams Chickpeas (kabuli chana) Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Tomato puree to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns Method Blend together one onion, one pepper, garlic and ginger. Add the chicken stock, fresh red chillies, coriander stems, honey, turmeric powder and curry powder and blend again into a smooth paste. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add the chicken drumsticks and fry for ten minutes or till golden. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Roughly chop the remaining onion and bell pepper, add to the same pan and sauté for a few minutes. Add the prepared paste, mix well and sauté for five minutes. Add one cup water, chickpeas, tomato puree, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Add the fried chicken drumsticks, cover, reduce heat and simmer for forty-five minutes or till the sauce thickens.
