This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rajgira, Milk Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Rajgira Kheer 2 cups Rajgira popped 1 tablespoon Milk 10-12 Almonds sliced 10-12 Pistachios sliced 2 tablespoon Raisins 1 cup Dried coconut ( khopra) grated 4 cups Milk ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) ½ teaspoon Green cardamom powder for drizzl Honey Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add almonds, pistachios and raisins and sauté for 2 minutes. Add amaranth seeds and sauté on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add dried coconut and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add 3 cups milk and cook, stirring continuously, till milk thickens. Add remaining milk and mix well. Add castor sugar, cardamom powder and mix well. Pour the kheer into serving bowls, drizzle honey and serve warm.
