By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Mar 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gram flour (besan), Clove powder Cuisine Madhya Pradesh Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Ratlami Sev - SK Khazana 3 cups Gram flour (besan) 2 teaspoons Clove powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) to taste Salt 4 tablespoons Hot oil 2 tablespo to deep fry Oil Method Take gram flour in a bowl, add, clove powder, garam masala powder, carom seeds, salt and hot oil. Add sufficient water and knead to a soft dough. Add 2 tbsps oil and knead again. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Grease a chakli press fitted with sev stencil with oil, put a portion of the dough in it. Screw on the lid and press the sev directly into hot oil and deep-fry till light golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside to cool. Make more sev with the remaining dough.
