Ingredients list for Schezwan Gobhi Matar

  • 1/2 medium Cauliflower separated into small florets
  • 1 cup Green peas blanched
  • 4-5 tablespoons Schezwan chutney
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • a few sprigs Fresh coriander leaves

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add asafoetida, ginger and green chillies and saute for 1 minute.
  2. Add cauliflower and mix well. Add green peas and mix well.
  3. Add Schezwan chutney and mix well. Add 1 cup water and mix and cook for 12-15 minutes or till cauliflower gets cooked and extra moisture gets absorbed.
  4. Add lemon juice and garam masala powder and mix well.
  5. Roughly chop coriander leaves and add and mix.
  6. Transfer into serving bowl and serve hot with paranthe.
