Ingredients list for Seekh Kebab Masala-SK Khazana

  • 5-6 Seekh Kebab cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 Large onion finely chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Medium tomato finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Browned onion paste
  • 1 tablespoon Cashewnut paste
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • for garnish Fresh mint leaves

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and onion and sauté till onion turns a golden brown.
  2. Add green chillies and ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for 2 minutes. Add tomato, mix and sauté till tomato becomes pulpy.
  3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder, mix and sauté till oil separates.
  4. Add ¼ cup water and mix well. Add yogurt and mix well. Add salt and mix.
  5. Add browned onion paste and mix well. Add cashewnut paste and mix well and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add ½ cup water and mix. Add seekh kebab pieces, garam masala powder, lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
