Ingredients list for Set Curd Rice

  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 3 cups Kolam Rice
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 3 medium Onions
  • 2 Green chillies
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Heat milk in a deep non stick pan till lukewarm. Chop onions and green chillies in a chopper and transfer into a bowl. Add rice and mix.
  2. Add a little salt and mix. Divide rice equally in individual bowls.Add yogurt to lukewarm milk and mix well. Pour into each bowl till it rises a little above the level of rice.
  3. When the curd sets, keep the bowls in the refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled.
