By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Shrimps, Potatoes Cuisine Maharashtrian,Indian,Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients 200 grams shrimp, washed 2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated ½ teaspoon turmeric powder 2 green chillies, finely chopped 1 teaspoon Malvani masala Salt to taste 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste 1½ tablespoons fresh coriander leaves chopped 3 tablespoons rice flour ¾ teaspoon red chilli powder 1 egg beaten Panko breadcrumbs as required Green chutney to serve Lemon wedges to serve Method Take shrimp in a bowl, add potatoes, turmeric powder, green chillies, malvani masala, salt, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves and rice flour and mix well. Add red chilli powder and mix well. Heat sufficient oil in a wok. Grease your hand with oil and take a portion of the shrimp mixture, shape it into a ball, slightly flatten it and make a hole in the center. Make more cakes similarly. Dip the shrimp cakes in egg coat them with panko and slide them into hot oil and, deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
