By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Jul 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium crabs, Fresh red chillies Cuisine Singaporean Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Singaporean Chilli Crab - SK Khazana 4 Medium crabs claws separated and cleaned 6-8 Fresh red chillies roughly chopped 10-12 Garlic cloves 1 inches Galangal roughly chopped 8-10 Shallots 1 stalks Lemon grass roughly chopped 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Oil 1 1/2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon Shrimp paste to taste Salt 2 Eggs beaten for garnish Spring onion greens finely chopped Method Blend together red chillies, garlic, galangal, shallots, lemongrass and lemon juice to a coarse mixture. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add prepared mixture and sauté for a minute. Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Add shrimp paste and mix. Add crabs and mix. Add salt and mix well. Add sufficient water, stir to mix, cover and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add eggs, mix well and cook till fully done.
