By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Custard apple (sitaphal) pulp, Semolina (suji) Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Sitaphal Suji Kheer 1 cup Custard apple (sitaphal) pulp 1/2 cup Semolina (suji) 2 tablespoons Ghee 750 millilitres Milk 1 cup Sugar 1/4 cup mawa / khoya grated a pinch Green cardamom powder Pistachios chopped 2 tablespoons + for garnishing Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add semolina and roast till it turns light brown. Boil milk in another non-stick pan, add roasted semolina, mix and cook till semolina is cooked. Keep stirring continuously. Add sugar and keep stirring till the sugar is dissolved. Add the mawa / khoya, cook on low heat, stirring continuously for a minute. Switch off heat. Add cardamom powder, pistachios, custard apple pulp and mix well. Garnish with pistachios and serve warm.
