Spaghetti with Baked Beans Spaghetti takes on the flavours easily – this dish comes to you all the way from Australia. Spaghetti tossed with onion, garlic , some herbs and served with baked beans. By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Jul 2020 in Recipes Veg New Update Spaghetti with Baked Beans Main Ingredients Spaghetti, Baked beans Cuisine Other Cuisines Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 400 grams spaghetti, cooked 1 1/2 cups baked beans 5 tablespoons olive oil 8 teaspoons chopped garlic 2 medium onions, finely chopped 2 fresh oregano springs 2-3 fresh thyme springs 1 cup tomato puree Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste 1 1/2 teaspoons dried red chilli flakes 10-12 cherry tomatoes, halved Fresh parsley springs for garnish Grated parmesan cheese for garnish Method Heat 2 tbsps olive oil in a non-stick pan, add 4 tsps garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add onions, mix well and saute till translucent. Add oregano and thyme, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add baked beans, salt and crushed black peppercorns, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Take the pan off the heat. Heat remaining olive oil in another non-stick pan, add remaining garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add spaghetti, dried red chilli flakes, salt and cherry tomatoes and toss well.
