Ingredients list for Spaghetti with Baked Beans -SK Khazana

  • 400 grams Spaghetti cooked
  • 1 1/2 cup Baked beans
  • 5 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 8 teaspoons Garlic chopped
  • 2 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Oregano fresh springs
  • 2-3 Fresh thyme springs
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dried red chilli flakes
  • 10-12 Cherry tomatoes halved
  • for garnish Fresh parsley springs
  • for garnish Parmesan cheese grated

Method

  1. Heat 2 tbsps olive oil in a non-stick pan, add 4 tsps garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add onions, mix well and saute till translucent.
  2. Add oregano and thyme, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add baked beans, salt and crushed black peppercorns, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Take the pan off the heat.
  3. Heat remaining olive oil in another non-stick pan, add remaining garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add spaghetti, dried red chilli flakes, salt and cherry tomatoes and toss well.
  4. Transfer the spaghetti onto individual serving plates, top it with some baked beans, garnish with parsley sprig and grated parmesan cheese And serve hot.
