Steamed Fish with Orange Sauce Steamed fish served with roasted capsicums and orange sauce. This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 13 May 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Basa Fish Fillet, Orange Juice Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Steamed Fish with Orange Sauce 2 Basa Fish Fillet Orange Juice 2 cups Orange juice 1 large Green capsicum 1/2 large Red capsicum 1 tablespoon Oil to taste Salt Juice of ½ lemon 1 Red chilli fresh 5-6 Green garlic stalks Method Heat sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan. Cut ½ green capsicum and red capsicum into bite sized pieces. Cut the remaining ½ green capsicum into 2 vertical pieces. Heat oil in another non-stick pan, add bite sized pieces of green and red capsicum and salt. Grate a little orange rind. Keep a bamboo steamer over the hot water. Sprinkle salt, lemon juice and orange rind over the fish pieces. Keep 2 vertical pieces of green capsicum at the base of the steamer, keep the fish fillets over them. Cover the steamer and steam. When the capsicums in the other pan are lightly roasted, add orange juice. Slit fresh red chilli and add and cook till the juice reduces slightly. Finely chop green garlic stalks. Drain the capsicums from the juice and place on a serving plate. Pour a little juice over them. Remove the fish from the steamer and place over the capsicums. Garnish with green garlic stalks and serve immediately.
