By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Dec 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rice, Oil Cuisine Mumbai Course Rice Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Tawa Pulao-SK Khazana 3 cups Rice cooked 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped 1 Medium onion finely chopped 1 tablespoon Red chilli paste 4 tablespoons Tomato puree 2 Medium tomatoes finely chopped to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Pav bhaji masala 2 tablespoons Green peas boiled and crushed 1 tablespoon Green capsicum finely chopped 1 tablespoon Butter 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped Method Heat oil on a non-stick tawa. Add cumin seeds and sauté till the seeds change colour. Add green chillies, garlic, ginger and onions, mix and sauté well pressing lightly with a masher. Add red chilli paste and mix well with the masher. Add tomato puree and tomatoes and mix with the masher. Add salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add chilli powder and pav bhaji masala, mix and cook for a minute. Add green peas and capsicum, mash and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add rice and mix well. Add butter, mix and let it melt. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well.
