By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Jan 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients White sesame seeds , Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Til Ka Mysore Pak 1 1/2 cups White sesame seeds 2 cups Ghee 1 1/2 cups Sugar 1/2 cup Peanuts coarsely ground Method Dry roast the til seeds in a kadai on a medium heat for eight to ten minutes or until golden brown. Grind to a coarse powder. Heat the ghee in a small kadai. In another kadai cook sugar with half cup of water to make a syrup of two string consistency. Add the powdered sesame seeds and peanuts and mix well. Add the hot ghee to this mixture slowly stirring continuously. Grease a thali with ghee, pour the sesame seeds mixture onto it and level the surface. Cut into desired shapes and set aside to cool completely. Separate the pieces and serve.
