Ingredients list for Tisrya Chi Ek Shipi
- 2 cups Clams (tisrya) , cleaned
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic , crushed
- 3 Green chillies , slit
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- a pinch Asafoetida
- 4 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves , chopped
- 1 large Onion , finely chopped
- 5 Kokum petals
- 1/2 cup Fresh coconut , scraped
- to taste Salt
- to garnish Fresh coriander sprig
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic, green chillies, turmeric powder, asafoetida, 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, onion, kokum petals and clams and mix well.
- Add coconut and salt, mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add remaining coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
