Dice the potatoes. Add cumin seeds to the pan and when they change colour, add potatoes and stir. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add 3 cups water and salt and mix. When the water comes to a boil, add rice, tomato and basil pasta sauce and mix well. When the mixture comes to a boil again, add green peas and mix. Cover and cook on medium heat till the rice and vegetables are done. Serve hot.
