By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Tomatoes, Green chutney Cuisine Indian,Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Tomato Chutney Pakoda - SK Khazana 3 medium Tomatoes as required Green chutney 2 cups Gram flour (besan) 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt a pinch Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) for deep-frying Oil to serve Chaat masala Method Take gram flour in a bowl, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, a pinch of baking soda, carom seeds and sufficient water and whisk till you get a smooth and thick batter. Slice the tomatoes into semi thick roundels. . Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Spread a little green chutney on each tomato slice, dip them one by one in the batter and slide into hot oil. Deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
