By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Dec 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Carrots, Cauliflower florets Cuisine Fusion Course Rice Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Vegetable Pilaf - SK Khazana 1/4 cup Carrots finely chopped 1/2 cup Cauliflower florets boiled with turmeric powder 2 tablespoons French beans finely chopped 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked for 15 minutes and drained 1 tablespoon Olive oil 2 tablespoons Butter 1 Bay leaf 10-12 Black peppercorns 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped 1 Medium onion finely chopped 6-8 Walnut kernels 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley finely chopped to taste Salt 1 to garnish Fresh parsley sprig Method Heat olive oil and butter in a deep non-stick pan, add bay leaf, peppercorns, garlic and onions and sauté till translucent and fragrant. Add carrots, cauliflower and French beans, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add rice, 3 cups water, walnuts, parsley and salt, mix well, cover and cook till fully done.
