Ingredients list for Walnut Chutney - SK Khazana

  • 25-30 California walnuts
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Cumin seeds
  • 4-5 Dried red chillies
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • to taste Sea salt
  • 6-7 Garlic cloves

Method

  1. Roasted walnuts mixed with roasted cumin seeds and garlic and ground - delicious
  2. Add red chillies to the same pan and dry roast for 1-2 minutes. Transfer into the same bowl.
  3. Add walnuts to the same pan and dry roast till crisp. Transfer into the same bowl.
  4. Add red chilli powder, sea salt and garlic cloves and mix together.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a blender jar and blend to a coarse powder.
  6. Transfer into a serving bowl and let it cool down to room temperature. Use as required.
