By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Wasabi Sauce, Sesame Seeds Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Wasabi Sesame Crusted Paneer 2 teaspoons Wasabi Sauce 1/4 cup Sesame Seeds 200 grams Paneer (cottage cheese) 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon Ginger paste 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 tablespoon Lemon juice to shallow fry Oil Method Mix together wasabi sauce, refined flour, salt, pepper powder, ginger paste, sugar, lemon juice and one tablespoon water and mix. Cut the paneer into thick fingers and add them to the wasabi mixture and mix so that they are well coated. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Place the sesame seeds in a plate. Roll the paneer fingers in the sesame seeds. Pierce toothpicks at one end of the paneer fingers and place them in the pan. Fry, turning the fingers frequently so that they are cooked all four sides to an even golden brown.
