Ingredients for Watermelon and Papaya Salad Recipe

  • Medium watermelon 1/2 medium

  • Papaya scoops 1 cup

  • Raw mango 1/2

  • Green chilli 1

  • Fresh mint leaves 15-20 + for garnishing

  • Lemon 1

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoons

Method

Step 1

Scoop out small balls from the watermelon with a Parisienne scoop and put them into a bowl. Add papaya scoops.

Step 2

Peel and cut ½ raw mango into thin slices and further into thin strips.

Step 3

Finely chop together green chilli and mint leaves and add to the same bowl. Grate the rind of a lemon and add. Add raw mango strips reserving some for garnishing. Add salt and lemon juice and mix well.

Step 4

Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with reserved mango strips and mint leaves and serve chilled.
