Green Chutney Peanuts A simple green chutney adds a unique twist to these delicious deep-fried peanuts. Serve them with cups of hot tea or coffee or as a starter with cocktails and mocktails. By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Nov 2024 in Recipes Snacks and Starters New Update Main ingredients Raw peanuts, Green chutney, Gram flour, Rice flour, Yellow chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Dried mint leaves, Chaat masala Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and starters Prep time 10-15 minutes Cook time 10-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Savoury Level of cooking Easy Others Vegetarian Ingredients ½ cup green chutney 1 cup raw peanuts ½ cup gram flour 1½ tablespoons rice flour 1 teaspoon yellow chilli powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil for deep frying 1 teaspoon dried mint leaves ½ teaspoon chaat masala Method Take raw peanuts in a large bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, yellow chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add green chutney and mix till each peanut is coated with the masala. Add ¼ cup water and mix well. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in the peanuts, one by one, into the hot oil and deep-fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle dried mint leaves and chaat masala and toss well.
