Gulamba A classic Maharashtrian recipe of flavourful raw mango jam is a perfect accompaniment to make an ordinary meal extraordinary. It can also be spread on bread slices which will be greatly appreciated by children. By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Nov 2024 in Recipes Pickle Jams Chutneys New Update Main ingredients Totapuri raw mangoes, Ghee, Salt, Jaggery, Nutmeg powder, Green cardamom powder Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Pickles jams chutneys Prep time 20-25 minutes Cook time 20-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of cooking Easy Others Vegetarian Ingredients 3-4 totapuri raw mangoes 2 tablespoons ghee A pinch of salt 1 cup chopped jaggery ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder Method Peel the mangoes, remove the seeds and cut them into 1 cm cubes. Heat ghee in a pan, add mango cubes and salt, mix and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add jaggery, nutmeg powder and cardamom powder, mix well and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes or till the mango cubes soften. Transfer onto a plate and allow to cool.
