By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Nov 2024 in Recipes Pickle Jams Chutneys New Update Main ingredients Raw mangoes, Red chilli powder, Jaggery, Oil, Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Pickle Jam Chutney Prep time 35-40 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Hot and sour Level of cooking Easy Others Vegetarian Ingredients 3 medium raw mangoes 2 teaspoons red chilli powder Salt to taste 2-3 tablespoons chopped jaggery 2 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon mustard seeds 1 teaspoon cumin seeds Method Remove the top portion and grate the raw mangoes into a thali. Add red chilli powder, salt and jaggery and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes or till the jaggery dissolves. For tempering, heat oil in a small non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and once they start to splutter, add cumin seeds, mix well and let them change colour. Allow to cool.
