Kayloli This is a Konkani version of cheela or dosa which is so very easy to make and also quite nutritious. It has the goodness of milk which also gives it a unique texture. It is a traditional breakfast item which is served with a chutney of your choice. By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Jul 2024 in Recipes Snack New Update Kayloli Main ingredients Rice flour, Semolina, Green chillies, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Milk Cuisine Konkani Course Snack Prep time 15-20 minutes Cook time 35-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Savoury Level of cooking Easy Others Vegetarian Ingredients 1½ cups rice flour ½ cup semolina (rawa) 3 green chillies, chopped 1½ teaspoons red chilli powder ¾ teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste 1½ cups milk Oil for cooking Coconut chutney to serve Method Take rice flour in a bowl, add semolina, green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add milk and 1½ cups water and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Heat a non-stick tawa. Spread a ladleful of batter evenly. Drizzle some oil around and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or till the underside is golden brown. Flip and cook on other side for 2-3 minutes more. Use up the remaining batter similarly.
