By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Apr 2024 in Recipes Snack New Update Methi Pyaz Ke Pakode Main ingredients Fresh fenugreek leaves, Onions, Rice flour, Gram flour, Red chilli powder, Carom seeds, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks Prep time 15-20 minutes Cook time 10-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Savoury Level of cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients · 1½ cups chopped fresh fenugreek leaves (methi) · 2 medium onions (pyaz) · Salt to taste · ½ tsp red chilli powder · ½ tsp cumin powder · 1 tsp coriander powder · ¼ tsp turmeric powder · ¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain) · 2 tsps rice flour · ¾ cup gram flour (besan) · Oil for deep frying · Green chutney to serve Method 1. Take fenugreek leaves in a large bowl, add salt and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. 2. Finely chop onions. 3. Squeeze excess water from the fenugreek leaves through a muslin cloth. Discard the water and put the leaves into a large bowl. Add onions, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, carom seeds, rice flour and gram flour and mix well. 4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in small portions of the mixture into the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 5.
