Method

  1. Take refined flour in a bowl, add rice flour, sugar, black sesame seeds, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Add 1¾ cups water and mix well to form thick batter.
  2. Peel the bananas and slice them vertically.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip the sliced bananas in the batter, slide a few at a time, into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Arrange the slices in a serving bowl and serve with filter coffee.
