Warm Apricot Tea Tea is not only a pep-up beverage, it has some other health benefits too. There are different flavours of tea, some of which provide more health advantages than others. By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Jul 2024 in Recipes Beverages New Update Warm Apricot Tea Main ingredients Golden apricots, Tea bags, Brown sugar Cuisine Fusion Course Beverage Prep time 5-10 minutes Cook time 10-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of cooking Easy Others Vegetarian Ingredients 8-10 golden apricots 2 tea bags 4-6 tablespoons brown sugar 4 green cardamoms 2 inch cinnamon Fresh mint sprigs for garnish Cookies for serving Method Roughly chop the apricots. Heat a non-stick pan, add chopped apricots, brown sugar and 4 cups water and mix well. Once the mixture comes to a boil, break open the green cardamom pods and add to the pan. Add cinnamon, mix and cook on medium heat for 6-8 minutes or till apricots turn soft. Discard the green cardamoms and cinnamon. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a jar. Transfer the cooked apricots into a blender jar and grind to a fine paste. Dip tea bags into the stock in the jar and let the flavour infuse for 1 minute. Add a spoon of ground apricot mixture into each of 4 individual cups and pour the tea mixture over.
