By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Fresh coriander leaves Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Aloo Cheela 2 large Potatoes peeled and grated 2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 Green chilli chopped to taste Salt ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 4 teaspoons Oil Method Pat dry the grated potatoes with a kitchen towel and put in a bowl. Add coriander leaves, green chilli, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and cornflour and mix well. Divide the mixture into four portions. Heat one teaspoon oil in a shallow non-stick pan, spread one portion of potato mixture on the pan thinly and cook, turning sides, till crisp. Similarly prepare more cheele with the remaining mixture. Put them on serving plates and serve hot.
