By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Mar 2019 in Recipes Veg New Update Aloo Matar Main Ingredients Potatoes, Green peas Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 4 medium potatoes, cut into 1 cm cubes and boiled 1 1/4 cups shelled green peas, blanched 2 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 inch ginger piece, cut into juliennes 1 green chilli, slit 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 1/2 teaspoons coriander powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder Salt to taste 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves Method Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and when it crackles add ginger and green chillies, stir-fry for a minute. Add green peas, potatoes and stir fry till for 2 minutes. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder and stir-fry at slow heat till the spices blend well with the vegetables. Add salt and garam masala powder and finish with chopped coriander leaves.
