Ingredients list for Aloo Tuk Pepper Salt

  • 250 grams Baby potatoes boiled
  • a pinch Crushed black peppercorns
  • ½ cup Spring onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Chilli flakes
  • to taste Salt
  • Sugar
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Once the boiled baby potatoes are cooled, hold them between the palms and flatten them.
  2. Meanwhile heat oil for frying the flattened potatoes.
  3. Fry the potatoes till crisp and golden brown in colour. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  4. Heat one tablespoon oil in a nonstick wok, add garlic and sauté for a minute.
  5. Add spring onions, salt, crushed black peppercorns and chilli flakes.
  6. Add the fried potatoes and toss everything together to combine well. Serve immediately.
