Apple Pineapple Jam with Pistachios Pistachios give this delicious jam a delightful crunch This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Jul 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Apple puree, Pineapple puree Cuisine Fusion Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Apple Pineapple Jam with Pistachios 1 1/2 cups Apple puree 2 cups Pineapple puree 1 cup Pistachios blanched and peeled 2 tablespoons Ghee 2 cups Sugar a pinch Cinnamon powder Method Heat pineapple puree in a deep non-stick pan, add apple puree, mix, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Heat ghee in another non-sick pan. Add pistachios and toss well. Add ½ cup sugar, mix and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add remaining sugar to pineapple-apple mixture and mix well. Add cinnamon powder, mix well, cover and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes. To check the doneness, place a spoonful of jam on a white plate and let it cool. If it leaves water and doesn’t set, it needs to be cook more. Put some of the pistachios in a sterilized glass bottle. Pour the jam over followed by remaining pistachios.
