Ingredients list for Apple Sheera
- 1 Medium apple peeled and chopped
 - 1 cup Dry roasted semolina
 - 3 tablespoons Ghee
 - 1 pinch Salt
 - 3 cups Milk
 - a large pi Saffron
 - 1 cup Sugar
 - 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
 - 10-12 Pistachios blanched and slivered
 - a few to garnish Apple slices
 
Method
- Heat ghee in a deep non-stick bottom pan, add semolina and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add apple, mix and saute for 4-5 minutes.
 - Add salt and mix well. Add milk and mix. Add saffron, mix, cover the pan and cook till all the liquid is absorbed.
 - Add sugar and cardamom powder, mix well, cover and cook till for 5-6 minutes.
 - Transfer the sheera into a serving bowl, garnish with apple slices and pistachio slivers and serve warm.
